Non-profit Tax & Compliance Manager
DeAnna Stinson joins HCT with more than 18 years of experience in Accounting, Management and Human Resources. DeAnna has a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Hampton University. Before joining HCT, Deanna spent the last 6 years overseeing a multi-million dollar non-profit entity as Director of Operations and Administration. She has a strong portfolio of successes that includes Director of Human Resources, Administration and Finance, Senior Customer Service Engineer, Special Projects Manager, and Financial Analyst and Auditor. Her passion is financial operations and consulting especially as it relates to the world of non profits.
We are pleased to announce DeAnna Stinson has joined the HCT Team in the position of Non-Profit Tax & Compliance Manager. She will lead and manage engagements to deliver quality service for our clients and open avenues for new ones. Her responsibilities will include review and/or preparation of non-profit tax returns; tax planning and projections; research tax issues and provide tax planning and consulting services; preparation of federal, state and local correspondence to taxing authorities; perform complex research and prepare memorandums summarizing facts, questions and conclusions.
Outside of the world of HCT, DeAnna is proud and active member of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated. In her spare time, monthly financial seminars to the youth at her church and quarterly seminars to small businesses in the South Florida area. She is an avid reader and loves to travel, both domestically and internationally.
